Malcolm Vandenburg is a registered specialist in General Medicine and an expert in Pharmaceutical Medicine and illegal drugs.
He has trained in all general medical specialtys as well as sexually transmitted diseases (excluding AIDS). His psychiatric experience includes developing drugs for depression and clinical trials in anxiety and panic disorder; founding "Positive under Pressure" seminars and writing a book of the same name.
Special interests include effects of medicines and drugs on behaviour and memory, criminal intent and mens rea, drug induced automatism, involuntary or passive ingestion of illegal drugs, the effects of antidepressants on epilepsy, sexually ttransmitted diseases and abnormal sexual behaviour. He has written over 200 medical and research articles, registered 20 prescription medicines and pleaded before a Committee on Safety and Medicine.
He has worked for the Royal College of Psychiatry, the police federation, the armed forces as well and solicitors, barristers and the crown prosecution service.
