This issue will be available at the Bond Solon Annual Expert Witness Conference, which is the largest annual gathering of expert witnesses in the UK. We are proud to be the lead sponsor of the conference for over 12 years.
The conference is invaluable  in that we get to hear from high profile speakers including Judges, Barristers and Solicitors who will discuss key issues affecting the expert witness industry and provide updates on the laws that affect your expert witness work.
There is also the chance to network with other expert witnesses and congratulate the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate Awards graduates. Please pop by our stand and say hello.
In this issue we feature a Q and A with Dewi Evans. Dewi is a Paediatric Consulting expert, who provides expert medical advice regarding clinical issues where child abuse is suspected or where there are allegations of clinical negligence.  He has prepared reports for the Court for over 25 years and has given evidence in court, in Wales, England, Ireland and Northern Ireland, most notably in the R v Letby case where he was the prosecution’s lead paediatric independent witness.

Expert Evidence Comes Under the Spotlight in the High Court with the case of Scarcliffe v Brampton Valley Group Ltd.  Also ‘Muyepa v Ministry of Defence: A Reminder to Expert Witnesses of their Overriding Duties to the Court’ As well as ‘How Will the Court Deal with Requests to Change Expert Witnesses?’ by Andrew Judkins.

We are always looking for contributors, if you wish to contribute please mail us.
Many thanks for your continued support.
