Hello and welcome to the 44th edition of the Expert Witness Journal.
  • Aug 26, 2022
  • Latest Journal

This edition has a focus on non-medical experts and their fields of expertise, please download here.

This includes articles on surveying, building, financial, immigration projects and many areas that are seldom written about but are vital to many cases, such as the Treatment of Indian Nationals Whose Asylum Applications/Appeals are Rejected and are forced to return to India by Mr.Shantanu Mohan Puri.

The case of ‘Quadra Commodities SA v XL Insurance Company SE & Ors [2022]’ provides an interesting consideration of the law of insurable interest.

This issue also features articles on expert matters in general with RICS contributing ‘The Dependable Expert Witness’ by Martin Burns and ‘Can an Expert Witness Withdraw From a Case? by Meera Shah, courtesy of Bond Solon, which is of particular interest.

Our next issue will be published in October 2022. It will be available at the annual Bond Solon Conference which is taking place on Friday 4 November 2022. The Lord Chief Justice will open the conference as the keynote. Running as a hybrid event again this year, you will be able to attend in-person (at Church House, Westminster) or virtually. We hope to see you there.

If you wish to contribute please mail us.

Many thanks for your continued support.
