MPS scoops award for in-house legal team of the year

The litigation team at Medical Protection Society (MPS) has won the award for best in-house legal team at the 2025 British Legal Awards (BLAs).
The judges recognised the expertise of the MPS litigation team that blends unparalleled clinical negligence expertise with a proactive, member-focused approach.
Karen Miller, Chief Executive of Medical Protection Society, said:

Steven Davies, Head of Legal Services at MPS said:

The BLAs were hosted by Davina McCall on Wednesday November 26 2025 at City Central at the HAC, London. MPS was nominated in the in-house legal team of the year category alongside Accord Healthcare, Auto Trader Limited, Centessa Pharmaceuticals, Elixirr, Evercore, Renault, Uber, UK Health Security Agency and YouLend.
MPS was also a finalist for Outstanding Collaboration (Group Action team) and Outstanding Corporate Culture at the BLAs, and Defendant Team of the Year (Group Action team) in the Personal Injury Awards.
