Online Report Writing Course for Medicolegal Experts

Inspire MediLaw firmly believe in the importance of ‘doing’ to learn, rather than just listening, watching or reading.
This interactive report writing course is the first in a series of four modules tailored to medicolegal experts with a practice in clinical negligence or personal injury law.

It is broken down into 4 parts. The first is to watch our experienced medicolegal professionals deliver their training online. The second is to apply the learning by assessing a set of medicolegal reports. For the third section, you will read a letter of instruction and review a set of medical records, and draft your report in the matter. Finally, your report will be assessed and returned to you, and you can arrange an online feedback session with the medical negligence lawyer who reviewed your work.

We pride ourselves on providing outstanding training to enable experts to achieve excellence in their work. After completing this course you may wish to use your in depth knowledge of the case study to follow through and complete training on how to approach a Conference with Counsel, participating in a Meeting of Experts and, crucially, giving evidence in Court.  These modules are based on the same case study.

Our training is accredited by the RCS (Eng) for CPD.  On completion of the course a CPD certificate will be sent for six hours. On completion of all four modules you will be eligible to apply for our Expert Witness Accreditation.

You can find out more about our Expert Witness Accreditation programme here:
