Chartered Surveyor and rural property consultant and valuer with considerable expert witness & litigation experience including arbitration and Higher Tier Tribunals; banking and other business and property disputes; farm business advice, including finance & business partnerships; agricultural insolvency & receivership; planning and development; agricultural tenancies including as an adviser to Defra as a member of the Farm Tenancy Forum (FTF). Chairs the RICS agricultural tenancies monitoring group.
Experience includes County Court and High Court cases, Public Inquiries, Higher Tier Tribunal, Valuation Tribunal and Arbitration Hearings as well as at mediation. Court experience includes giving evidence in the High Court. Instructions accepted on behalf of both claimant and defendant and as a SJE. Accepts mediation, arbitration, and receivership appointments.
