Nick Russell is a Director in a firm of consulting civil and structural engineers, glass specialists and building surveyors. He has nearly 40 years’ experience in consulting engineering, encompassing many aspects of structural and civil engineering. He has advised on the engineering aspects of projects across many sectors up to £150M in capital value. Nick has particular interests in forensic engineering and advising on a wide range of engineering and professional negligence disputes.
He has extensive experience over the last 25 years acting as Expert Witness in a variety of guises and across a range of technical fields including: matters relating to problems with building and civil engineering structures including foundations, basements, pipelines, roads and drainage. He has also advised on disputes on technical matters, professional negligence, accidents and consulting services.
He is experienced in acting as a single joint expert, and have also given evidence and cross examination in court. Nick was voted Lawyer Monthly Civil & Structural Engineering Expert of the Year in 2016 & 2017. He is a past president of the Institution of Structural Engineers.
