Surveys made to a suitable accuracy and precision for the Land Registry's Determined Boundaries (ss60(3) LRA 2002). All reports CPR compliant. A Chartered Land Surveyor of over 40 years experience and a Member of the Boundaries and Party Walls Working Group of the RICS.
Holder of the Cardiff University Bond Solon Certificate as an Expert Witness and a Visiting Lecturer (in surveying and law) at L’École Supérieure des Géomètres et Topographes at Le Mans and an Hon. Lecturer at University College London.
I have prepared over 300 expert reports since 1998; of these 15 have involved the interpretation of aerial photography. I have been appointed as a sole joint expert in about 15 cases and made two Expert Determinations according to English Law.
I was appointed (2006) by the Singapore Lands Authority as an Expert Witness in a matter of Copyright and Database Rights of their mapping with a subsequent paper to the Society of Legal Scholars in September 2009.
My expertise is therefore in all matters to do with land surveying, mapping and law and have published more than 30 papers on geodesy, surveying and law.
