Consultant Neurosurgeon & Consultant Spinal Surgeon in Full time Independent practice with over 30 years experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon. Formerly Consultant Neurosurgeon at James Cook university hospital Middlesbrough and Consultant Neurospinal Surgeon to the Golden Jubilee Spinal Injuries Unit, James Cook University hospital.
Extensive experience in all aspects of spinal injury including whiplash injury, back injury, spinal fractures, spinal cord injury and spinal degenerative disease. Also extensive experience in the management of head injury and post traumatic epilepsy.
Extensive Medico-legal experience for Claimants and Defendants. Also experienced in medical negligence cases and criminal cases. I am also instructed by The General medical Council in fitness to practice hearings.
Consulting rooms in The Northeast in Darlington. I also consult in the East Midlands in Leicester and Peterborough. I am also available nationally on request.
