Practical experience as a Chartered Architect and Chartered Town Planner in South-Eastern counties and London South of the Thames, and qualified also as a Member of the Association of Planning Supervisors; associate Member of the Arboricultural Association. Expertise in all aspects of private architectural practice but concentrating predominantly on smaller works and those of special character or flavour. Town and Country Planning practice in relation to the 1990 Act and the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act, the Planning and Compensation Act 1991, General Permitted Development / Procedure and Use Classes Orders, various Government Planning Policy Guidance Notes etc.
