Dr Ford has career experience in Genetics, DNA, Clinical and Diagnostic Genetics, Medical Laboratory Practice, Research and Counselling, spanning 35 years. An expert in Chromosome and DNA analysis, she has particular expertise in Cancer, Chemical Toxicology, congenital abnormalities, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her research ranges from cell biology to epidemiology. She speaks professionally, has published extensively in medico-scientific, written two books (on reproduction and ageing), and recorded CDs on health and cancer prevention. Dr Ford has prepared medico-legal reports and given expert evidence in many cases in Australia. She has written reports for cases in the UK, Canada and the USA.
