Catherine Brouwer has over 14 years of expertise and experience in visual landscape values assessment and the impacts of proposals. Catherine has acted as Expert Witness in the Queensland Planning and Environment Court for a quarry, tourist and infrastructure developments, and many residential projects in Cairns and SE Queensland.
Expertise includes development of visual landscape assessment methodologies, and strategies and guidelines for planning schemes. Her design and planning consultancy includes projects for state and local government and private companies.
Catherine is on the Queensland Heritage Council and has expertise on cultural / heritage landscapes, and undertaken diverse cultural landscape studies.
