My medico-legal practice stretches back to 1981. During these years I have reported on an average 200 personal injury cases per year - 55% Claimant, 40% Defendant, 5% Joint Instruction. In addition to this over the last 10 years I have an increasing practice in medical negligence, both from the point of view of Plaintiff and Defendant; currently I am dealing with between 12 - 15 cases per annum
I retired after 25 years as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Royal Preston Hospital and have seen and treated large numbers of trauma patients during those years.
I had a special interest in spinal and lower limb trauma. I have also been involved in spinal problems from a wide variety of pathologies, including accidents, degenerative disc disease, spinal deformity, infections and tumours.
I have published widely on knee ligament and spinal injury.
