40+ years’ professional experience supported by extensive peer-reviewed research into accidents, safety and risk across all forms of vertical transportation.  Co-author of Elevator & Escalator Accident Investigation & Litigation and First Tier Expert by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), he is also an expert advisor on statutory requirements.

International expert witness for cases involving fatalities and injuries as well as disputes concerning workmanship and contractual matters. He has delivered expert witness reports for 2000+ legal issues worldwide, advised on 40+ fatal accidents involving lifts and escalators, and given expert evidence in civil, criminal and Coroner’s courts in the UK, Ireland and internationally.

Fully trained in all legal aspects of expert investigations, preparing reports and giving evidence, he regularly accepts instructions in personal injury and negligence matters involving mechanical and vertical transportation.
