Dr Brian Parsonage has extensive clinical and medico-legal experience. He does independent assessments for insurers, plaintive and defendant solicitors, Nurses and Medical Registration Boards, Comcare and Department of Veterans' Affairs and he is also an approved Medical Specialist for the Workers Compensation Commission. His specialty areas include; mood disorders (especially depression), anxiety disorders (especially post-traumatic stress disorder), work related psychiatric injuries and psychiatric injuries caused by motor vehicle accidents.
