Dr Bonaventura's present appointments include Senior Staff Specialist Medical Oncology, Mater Misericordiae Hospital and Consultant Medical Oncologist, Hunter Area Health Service (both since 1991). He also lectures at the University Of Newcastle. He has published extensively on cancer and its treatment.
