I am a Paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. I care for acutely unwell children on the children’s wards. I am a Specialist in Paediatric Intensive Care and manage some of the most severely sick children in Victoria. I am regularly involved in the investigation of adverse patient events and critical incident analysis. I am a member of the Infant and Child Subcommittee of the Victorian Consultative Council on Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity. I am involved in the analysis of factors contributing to a child’s death. My main area is unexpected medical deaths. Meningitis
