My work involves assessments, mostly with regard to neck and back injuries, over-use syndromes and conditions involving upper and lower limbs. My assessments and reports are particularly concerned with two areas. These are the relationship between work and occupational diseases and injuries and the suitability of return to work programmes. As a Specialist Occupational Physician I provide an overview of a claimant’s total impairment and occupational disability. I have performed some 5000 impairment assessments over the last 20 years. I undertake Worksite Assessments for Return to Work Programmes and Impairment and Work Capacity Evaluations.
