Dr Kapila has over 30 years experience in hand and micro-surgery in Australia including running micro-surgery workshops to train Surgeons. He has lectured in Europe, USA, Asia and Australia including running a micro-surgery workshops. He was one of the Surgeons involved in the world's first hand/arm transplant from human to human. Dr Kapila has extensive experience in medical evidence as an expert witness, worker's compensation, third party and insurance related cases. Dr Kapila currently holds positions at Canterbury, Fairfield and Hornsby Hospitals and Westside and Sydney Private Hospitals and is a surgical fellow of the Micro-Research Foundation of Australia.
