Mr Gervase MacGregor

Gervase MacGregor is one the UK's most experienced accounting expert witnesses. He has given oral evidence on 48 occasions in the High Court, County Courts, Crown Court, the District Court of South Manhattan and in a many international arbitrations, including investor state arbitrations.

He first gave oral evidence in the High Court in 1993. He has most recently given oral evidence in July, September, November and December 2016 and in March 2017.

He was appointed by the Secretary of State of the then DTI to investigate the affairs of MG Rover group. He acted as an adviser to a UN organisation dealing with mass claims analysis and acts for both claimants and defendants. He has extensive experience of arbitrations particularly in the power generation and oil and gas sectors. He has also worked for regulators in the UK including the FSA and FRC as an investigator.
