Dr Scott has been engaged in personal injury medico-legal work for the past 25 years, preparing about 200 reports a year. In addition he has prepared reports on Asylum Seekers. Dr Scott is the author of the forthcoming book, Personalising Trauma Treatment: Reframing and Reimagining to be published by Routledge. He is the Editor of a four volume work on Traumatic Stress [Sage Publications (2015)] and author of Unreliable Assessment in Civil Litigation (2002) in The Psychologist, and the self-help book Moving On After Trauma (2007), which contains a chapter titled Justice.
He is an acknowledged expert in the treatment of PTSD and author of 13 books, 10 book chapters and 17 peer reviewed papers. Dr Scott taught cognitive-behaviour therapy on the M.Sc in Applied Psychology, at the University of Manchester for 15 years.
