My areas of expertise include general rheumatology, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue rheumatism, including whiplash and repetitive strain injury, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, chronic fatigue/ME, neurological rehabilitation, especially traumatic brain injury, and medical negligence.

I have been an expert witness for the past thirty years, with experience of report writing, conferences and giving evidence in court. I accept approximately 12 new instructions annually, 60% claimant, 40% defendant. I undertake domiciliary examinations, including abroad. I have provided some thirty reports on British military claimants.
