Dr Naeem Ahmad

I have expertise in diagnosis and management of child abuse cases. I was the named doctor for safeguarding for 7 years in my trust. In addition, I was the lead for paediatric disability in my hospital trust for 22 years. Alongside my clinical experience I have worked as a forensic medical Examiner for five years. I also have considerable experience and expertise in care proceedings. I have recently retired from the NHS. I am now doing full time private practice. 

I have worked as an Expert for the GMC. I accept instructions for defense and prosecution and also joint instructions for care proceedings. I have expertise in all forms of disability including developmental delay, learning difficulties, special needs, ADHD, autism/Aspergers syndrome, autistic spectrum disorder, PDA and all forms of neuro-developmental disorders. 

I write about 40 reports per year as an expert witness. I attend courts approximately 25 times a year as an expert witness. 

I was the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health's representative for the appointments of doctors/paediatricians at all levels. I also have considerable experience in teaching and training doctors. Please download my CV for further information.
