He is a Consultant Psychiatrist with working experience of more than 2 decades within the NHS And Priory group of Hospitals. He has experience of working as a “Responsible Clinician” in an independent Capacity, for people stuck in Secure facilities, working with CMHT's & CLDT's, with detained patients including preparing reports for MoJ, and attending tribunals.
His report writing includes:
• Medico legal reports for People detained with mental health issues, Autism, Asperger's, Personal injury Capacity Assessments, MCA and DoLS.
• Reports for Criminal, Civil, MHRT, for ‘fitness to plead/instruct' solicitors, Equality act 2010 and Child and Family proceedings.
• Risk Assessments using HCR 20, SVR, trained in DISCO and ADOS.
In addition to English, Dr Rajpal can speak and understand 4 Asian Languages.
