Mr. Syed O Shafqat

I was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1996 and specialise in hip, knee, shoulder, and trauma to upper and lower limbs including hand and long bones. I have been performing medico-legal consultations and medical reports both for Plaintiffs as well as Defendants, 60% of the work is for Plaintiffs, while the rest comprises Defendants, which may include Solicitors or Insurance Companies. Cases include examining personal injury cases, road traffic accidents, work accidents as well as repetitive strain injuries. I began report writing when I was a Registrar at Barnsley District General Hospital in 1987. I continued whilst a Registrar at Whipps Cross Hospital, London (which is one of the busiest Hospitals in the country) and gained a great deal of experience in Medical Reporting. I continued writing reports when appointed as Senior Registrar at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Homerton Hospital, Hackney, London and Royal United Hospital Bath.
