Mr Brent Tanner has worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 1984. First and foremost his work has been at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead where he was Director of the McIndoe Burns Unit. For the last ten years he has solely devoted his time to cosmetic surgery.
Mr Tanner is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) where he has also been a member of the council. He regularly attends international meetings in Dubai, British Virgin Islands, Rome, Nice, USA and Singapore, giving lectures and pursuing new techniques and innovations. He also gives many lectures all around the UK and mentors young consultants.
Mr Tanner offers his expert opinion on a wide range of procedures especially:
post traumatic scarring, including burns, lacerations, scars, post burn deformities and skin grafts.
Mr Tanner currently holds Outpatient Clinics at: The Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital on Monday mornings and Purity Bridge, Tunbridge Wells all day Wednesdays.
