Mr Brueton is a Honorary Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, based in London. With a particular interest in the management of trauma, especially pelvic and acetabular fractures. He has operated on over 70 acetabular fractures. His expertise in the treatment of fractures of the upper and lower limbs is considerable, with particular reference to intramedullary nailing. This extends to the management of delayed union and infected fractures.
He also has experience in the management of hip and knee problems particularly related to total hip and knee replacements and knee arthroscopy. Orthopaedic experience also involves back and knee pathology with particular relation to occupational medicine.
He has also undertaken research directed towards the investigation of the Biology of Fracture Repair and the Effects of Surgical Procedures on Bone and Bone Healing. He has worked in France and is fluent in French.
