Professor Mona El-Bahrawy is Professor of Practice of Pathology and Consultant Histopathologist Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Her main area of practice and interest is Gynaecologic pathology, with special interest in gynaecological oncology. Prof. El-Bahrawy leads and participates in several research projects and clinical trials in the field of cancer research, teaches and supervises under and post graduate students, and contributes and reviews articles for leading Pathology journals and project grant proposals for national and international funding bodies.
Prof. El-Bahrawy is registered on the GMC expert list for the speciality of Histopathology. Working with solicitors she has provides medicolegal expert opinion on reviewing histopathological reports and slides on cases in context of clinical history, patient management and clinical reports.
