She provides psychiatric condition and prognosis reports in a range of medical negligence cases, mainly in obstetrics and gynecology and in personal injury.
Dr. Klimowicz specializes in women's mental health and perinatal mental health (e.g. antenatal and postnatal depression), parenting and mental health problems, depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), somatoform disorders, schizophrenia, bi-polar affective disorder, and schizo-affective disorder.
Dr Klimowicz has completed a medico-legal training: ‘Writing for Court – Ensuring Quality and Effectiveness’. She is aware of the requirements of Part 35 and Practice Direction 35, the Protocol for the Instruction of Experts to Give Evidence in Civil Claims, and the practice direction on pre-action conduct. She is familiar with The Family Procedure Rules 2010 and Practice Direction 25A.
