I have been a consultant neonatologist based in Aberdeen Maternity Hospital since 2000. As well as being an honorary senior lecturer in child health I have been head of neonatal services in NHS Grampian. I am currently the clinical lead for the new Baird Family Hospital, NHS Grampian.
I have been director of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Scotland since 2003 and have expertise in resuscitation of the newborn. I am active in research having published work on brain perfusion and injury.
My clinical practice covers all aspect of newborn medicine including, resuscitation, intensive care, preterm infants, newborn follow up and outcome. I am happy to provide expert reports on any of the above.
