A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Delay Expert and Chartered Arbitrator who has a broad range of experience at a senior level in engineering and construction companies. Acts in an advisory capacity to Clients, and as Expert Witness in international litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Principally involved in projects within the energy sector, including oil and gas, fabrication of offshore structures, petrochemical, shipbuilding and power generation but also infrastructure and building and civil engineering.

Over 40 years construction and associated industries experience including marine, shipping, offshore, drilling, power, petrochemical, building, civil engineering and utilities. Employed by owners, consultants, contractors/builders and subcontractors/vendors throughout the World.

All aspects of quantity surveying and delay analysis from pre-contract tendering, procurement, contract award, cost control and management, and post-contract administration including extension of time and delay assessment.

The appraisal, forensic investigation and analysis of Client data in preparation or defence of claims leading to the case management and negotiation on behalf of Client of both extension of time and monetary claims.

General contentious and non-contentious commercial and contractual advice.

Delay and Quantum Expert Witness and Arbitrator.

Technical support to law firms and parties in legal and arbitration proceedings, including major international disputes.

Management and co-ordination of dispute resolution processes including ADR. Acting for Referring/Claimant and Respondent parties in adjudication and arbitration proceedings.
