Mr Soren Upton Sjolin

Mr Soren Upton Sjolin is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon based in Suffolk, Upper Limb Consultant at the West Suffolk Hospital 1995-2024. He has an excellent all-round knowledge of Orthopaedic and Trauma surgery, with a special interest in Arthroscopic and open Orthopaedic surgery and reconstruction  to the upper limb in particular to the shoulder and the elbow. >900 TSR and > 50 TER procedures performed. He is a qualified Mediator.

He undertakes weekly sessions in Suffolk, Norfolk  and London regarding medico-legal issues. 130-160 reports p.a. (Claimant:Joint:Defendant 8:1:1), Clinical Negligence reports 20-25 p.a.(Claimant:Defendant 7:3). Pro Bono opinions as required.

He has a number of publications in international journals and presentations in medical societies.

Mr Sjolin has Medico-legal reporting experience since 1993, including Medical Negligence reports. He has undertaken extensive Expert Witness training, including accredited Cardiff University- Bond Solon Expert Witness certificate.
