I have been providing reports for Courts as an expert witness from 1988 until the present date. I have produced over 3000 Court reports over this period to include Criminal and Criminal Cases.

A significant number of reports were in child contact cases and also abuse compensation cases.

I often also carry out desktop report when an assessment is not possible.
I am instructed by solicitors representing local authorities, individual parents and also guardian ad litems.

I have a special interest in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and have provide several hundred reports I personal injury cases including assessing children as secondary victims. 

I am the lead doctor for ADHD in the Trust for which I currently work. I am also interested in the treatment of Anorexia Nervosa.

I am employed by the National Health Service working as Consultant Child Psychiatrist at Derbyshire NHS Trust based at Kingsway Hospital, Derby. I work with a team of professionals from various fields and provide a service to Children and Adolescents up to the age of 19 yrs.

I am approved under the Mental Health Act as having special experience in the assessment and treatment of children with mental disorders. I am the named doctor for child protection for the Trust and I have had special experience in the assessment and treatment of drug and alcohol problems in children (substance abuse).

I regularly travel nationwide to carry assessments as I prefer to interview families in their own homes.

I usually complete reports within two to three weeks from client appointment. 

I accept Legal Aid funded instructions and offer a fixed fee reports service
