I have over 30 years’ experience in surveying gained within both the public and private sectors.
I provide professional valuation and strategy advice to corporate and individual clients throughout the UK on development opportunities including the unlocking of high profile complex residential/mixed use development/regeneration schemes. As part of this I advise, inter alia, in respect of Options and Overage provisions.
I advise in respect of Compulsory Purchase and Compensation matters dealing with all aspects of the process including the negotiation of Development/Indemnity Agreements and presentation of Expert evidence at Public Inquiry, through to the settlement of compensation claims, or presentation of evidence to the Lands Chamber/Independent Expert/Arbitrator.
In addition I provide viability and cash flow appraisals to inform development strategy and major planning applications as well as negotiating and providing evidence in respect of affordable housing and Section 106 planning obligations. As part of this I provide Expert evidence on valuation matters to Planning Inquiries.
I provide specialist Section 18 Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 advice in including Expert evidence in respect of the capping of dilapidation liabilities and other covenant lease breaches.
I also advise clients in respect of easements, wayleaves, trespass, covenant and negligence issues providing Expert evidence to the appropriate Court or adjudicator as appropriate.
I accept appointments to act as an Independent Expert in respect of CPO and development related disputes.
