Mr. Neil Bateman

I am a Consultant Paediatric Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with 15 years experience in tertiary level Paediatric ENT. I have been previously Hon Secretary of the British Association for Paediatric Otolaryngology and am co-director of the Paediatric Emergency Skills Course for Consultants. I have authored several book chapters and multiple academic papers within the field of Paediatric ENT.

My private practice is at the Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle

My clinical expertise covers both general Paediatric ENT as well as complex airway surgery, including neonatal airway problems, and complex paediatric ENT problems.

I have had extensive medicolegal experience both in clinical negligence and personal injury cases, having accepted medicolegal instructions in these areas for over 10 years.

In addition to this I have many years of experience in preparing reports in noise induced hearing loss cases and continue to prepare desktop reports in these cases.
