Dr Mair Edwards is a Doctor of Clinical Psychology with expertise in parental mental health, children’s emotional, behavioural, and social development, and all aspects of parenting and family functioning. Having previously worked in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Heath teams in the North Wales area and having held an academic appointment as a Teaching Fellow in the School of Psychology, Bangor University she has been in independent practice for almost 20 years.
Dr Edwards shares her time between therapeutic services to children, young people and adults and providing clinical psychology assessments, training, and consultation services to a wide range of private and public sector organisation and authorities. She accepts instructions for Clinical Psychology reports on children and parents/carers in Family Court proceedings and currently serves on the Family Justice Council Expert Witness (Cymru/Wales) Committee.
