Richard Pyper qualified from Cambridge University in 1978. He commenced his career in O & G at the Middlesex Hospital but chose to doubly qualify by training in General Surgery at St Mary’s Hospital and obtained the FRCS (Ed).
He returned to train in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and has 39 years experience in the speciality. He also has 28 years experience as a NHS Consultant in O & G, having been appointed at Worthing & Southlands Hospitals in 1992.
Mr Pyper has an excellent general knowledge of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with special interests in Urogynaecology, pelvic floor surgery and urinary incontinence, as well as hysteroscopic surgery for menstrual problems.
