Mr Gaunt is an internationally recognised vascular surgeon with over 31 years' clinical experience including 20 years as a consultant surgeon. His private practice includes clinics in London, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds and Norwich.
Mr Gaunt is a leading expert in the field of venous and arterial conditions. He covers a full range of aortic surgery, carotid surgery and limb revascularisation. Mr Gaunt is also a recognised expert in varicose vein treatment and has lectured and trained surgeons worldwide.

Mr Gaunt has authored over 130 peer reviewed articles and co-authored 3 medical textbooks.
Mr Gaunt is a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons and The Royal Society of Medicine. He is a member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland and an International Member of the Society for Vascular Surgery (USA).
Mr Gaunt teaches Anatomy at the University of Cambridge. He was Chairman of the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital Medical Advisory Committee for eight years and he is a former Executive Council Member and Treasurer of the International Society of Vascular Surgery.
Mr Gaunt is a GMC Consultant Appraiser for Spire Healthcare and the Federation of Independent Practitioners (FIPO).
