Mr William Merriam

Mr William Merriam is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. He is an enthusiastic Traumatologist and an active member of the Trauma and Orthopaedic surgical team. Mr Merriam provides a degenerative spinal service treating patients with neck and low back pain. With Spinal surgery his principal subspecialty. Mr Merriam has experience preparing medico-legal reports in connection with personal injury cases since his appointment in 1987. He produces approximately 350 reports each year. He has provided reports on a wide range of general trauma as well as spine injuries. He has undertaken a Thomas Sands training course. Appointment times can be offered within 7 days and the report sent within 10 days of consultation assuming medical records are available. He can also arrange MRI/X-ray Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation if required Mr Merriam has published 12 papers on spinal injuries, neck pain, low back pain and multiple injuries.
