Mr Priy Silva graduated as a doctor in 1999. He undertook his higher surgical training in Manchester and worked with a number of leaders in the field of ENT Head & Neck surgery. He subsequently undertook a period of dedicated research into Head & Neck Cancer at the renowned Christie Cancer Hospital. He published and presented his work both nationally and internationally. He has authored over 30 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals. He underwent fellowship training in Oxford as well as internationally in Brisbane, Australia. He has worked as a Consultant ENT Surgeon since 2013, with an NHS practise based at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is Chair of the Cancer Alliance Group for Head & Neck Cancer services across the Thames Valley Network and Governance Lead for ENT.

Mr Silva has significant medico legal experience, having undertaken cases since 2013. These include work in clinical negligence, personal injury and noise induced hearing loss. He has a full understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and provides reports for noise induced hearing loss using Coles guidelines. His areas of interest are; Tinnitus, Industrial Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL), Ear Nose and Throat problems from personal injury and medical negligence cases.
