Philip Manson

Philip Manson gained a BSc (Hons) in Urban Land Valuation from Sheffield Hallam University in 2000. He became a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2003. He is currently in private practice as an
associate surveyor at Scanlans Consultant Surveyors LLP, based in Manchester.

Over the past 17 years, Philip has gained experience as a general practice surveyor dealing with a wide range of commercial and residential properties and developments in the north west. He is also responsible for agency, commercial valuations, expert witness cases and LPA receivership instructions.

Since he qualified in 2003, Philip has been responsible for the provision of loan security valuations for residential and commercial properties in the north west region. Valuations have also been for matrimonial, probate and expert witness purposes. Philip has also acted for landlords and tenants when disputes have arisen.

In recent years, his activities have included the preparation of retrospective valuation reports for consideration in potential professional negligence cases and accepting LPA appointments over a wide variety of commercial and residential properties.

Professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2003, Fellow of the Association of Property & Fixed Charge Receivers, RICS-registered property valuer, RICS-registered property receiver.
