Ms Diane Wills

Diane Wills is an expert practitioner offering a range of independent and bespoke services. She is the owner and director of Diane Wills Criminal Justice & Social Work Services, providing a range of related services.

She has a wealth of experience and expertise working with sexual offenders and those affected by them. She has facilitated groupwork and national training for the Community Sexual Offender Groupwork Programme. Diane has national strategic experience in the Ministry of Justice managing sexual offenders in the community.

Ms Wills provides High quality independent risk assessments on convicted or alleged sexual offenders including those who maintain their innocence, using the most up to date research.

She provides assessments on non-abusing partners as well as direct work with offenders or to increase a partner’s ‘ability to protect’. Recent contracts have been with Local Authorities and Plymouth Community Rehabilitation Company where Ms Wills worked exclusively with men convicted of domestic abuse.

She also has experience in conducting risk assessments for social services including working with those who are unconvicted or historically convicted of sexual offences and those ‘in denial’.

Ms Wills authors articles for social care online, she was principal researcher and co-author of the evaluation of Scottish Circles of Support and Accountability, commissioned by SACRO 2014.

She is an experienced practice teacher in for social work students and an associate lecturer for criminology students. She has recently completed Professional Development in Academic Practice for teaching in Higher Education.

Ms Wills is a Trustee for Circles South West and has represented Circles UK on national television and local radio.

Registered social worker with the HCPC . Has current DBS certificate. Member of the National Organisation for the Treatment of Abusers (NOTA) and a previous NEC member of NOTA.
