Teli is a Corporate Member of the Institute of Acoustics and Institute of Mechanical Engineers, a Chartered Engineer and a Registered Expert Witness in the fields of Planning, Nuisance, Licensing and Occupational noise/vibration exposure.

Teli has amassed over 20 years of experience in the field of acoustics and noise/vibration control, and practiced in occupational noise/vibration, building acoustics, and environmental noise and vibration impact.  He has experience in independent acoustic consultancy and multidisciplinary consultancy environments, both as a technical expert and team leader. He has worked as an expert in numerous cases in the planning, licensing, nuisance and occupational noise/vibration fields.

Teli has appeared in public inquiries as an expert witness in matters relating to planning law and noise and vibration and as an expert witness advising in civil and criminal law in matters involving industrial disease.  To date, he has prepared over 200 reports for the Courts dealing with noise issues from various different industries and settings, with the majority of instructions received on a joint basis.

Teli has also completed the Cardiff University Bond Solon Certificate in Civil Law for expert witnesses.

With Finch, Teli applies his knowledge of acoustics as an expert witness both in providing engineering evidence in occupational disease (noise-induced hearing loss), noise/vibration nuisance cases and also to the planning sector. In addition, Teli advises architects, developers, M&E engineers in various matters relating to building and environmental acoustics.
