Dr. Rahul Kacker is a General Practitioner based in South Yorkshire. He qualified as a Medical Practitioner in 1995 and, received full registration with the General Medical Council in February 2007. Dr. Kacker has been in active, continuous General Medical Practice since August 2000.
He has been a Principal and Partner in a six doctored training partnership that cares for over 13,500 patients since 2002.
As a General Practitioner, he sees and treats all the conditions that are commonly present in children, adults of all ages on a day-to-day basis.
Dr. Kacker has been providing personal injury medico-legal reports since 2002. He provides reports that are internally consistent, logical, and unequivocal. His reports have been complimented and credited in the past by a number of instructing Solicitors.
Dr. Kacker takes pride in his report preparation. He always aims to serve the Court to the best of his ability by offering a realistic opinion that should withstand future challenge but know and always works within his area of expertise.
As a medical clinical negligence report provider, he understands that his role is to review the notes and offer an opinion to the Court based on a balance of probabilities Dr. Kacker understands that he has to confirm that there was a breach of duty of care between the patient and the doctor, that there was a breach of the duty of care which has resulted in damages or a missed opportunity for treatment. Dr. Kacker offers a fair, measured, and up-to-date opinion for cases involving patient care from August 2000 onwards.
Dr. Kacker has experience of providing reports, where concerns have been expressed about local General Practitioners’ performance, for NHS England, South Yorkshire, and Bassetlaw Area. The reports arose where issues about a General Practitioners' clinical care and or performance from a complaint. The complaint may have been generated by the General Medical Council or by the Responsible Officer.
The reports have specific terms of reference and the audience is initially the Responsible Officer, but when providing the reports, he undertakes the work in the full knowledge that the report needs to be of sufficient rigour and adequately robust to withstand scrutiny, potentially, by those who at the level of a General Medical Council Fitness to Practice inquiry. In providing these reports he has undertaken training from NCAS (National Clinical Assessment Service).
Dr. Kacker is a GP Appraiser, which involves discussing with other qualified GP’s, their performance and professional development. As a GP Specialist Registrar Trainer, he daily reviews others’ notes and entries.
Dr. Kacker is a General Practitioner Post-Graduate Specialist Registrar Trainer and, an Undergrad-graduate Examiner for the University of Sheffield Medical School.
