Robert James MRICS has a degree in Fine Arts Valuation from Southampton Solent University and trained at Christie’s auctioneers in London. He has a broad knowledge of the Fine and Decorative Arts and is regularly instructed as an art and antique expert witness in civil, criminal and family court cases. Robert is a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Arts & Antiques Faculty), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) and Member of the Expert Witness Institute (MEWI).
Robert has provided numerous Expert Witness reports for divorce and litigation cases involving art, antiques, jewellery and general chattels over the last fifteen years. Work is carried out throughout the UK and abroad.
