Mr Sarwat Sadek is an ENT consultant with over 35 years extensive experience in all aspects of adult and paediatric ENT and Head & Neck Surgery. He is currently a Consultant Otolaryngologist and Head & Neck Surgeon at the Nuffield Hospital, Taunton. Mr Sadek was a Consultant at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton from 01/07/2000 and retired from the NHS on 05/07/2020.
He is highly experienced in most otological procedures and holds substantive skills in rhinology, especially in functional endoscopic sinus surgery and rhinoplasty, having performed almost three hundred cases of the latter.
In Head & Neck Surgery, he has gained substantive experience in salivary gland, thyroid head and neck cancer surgery and was thyroid lead for the Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. In paediatric otolaryngology he has dealt with several cases of congenital choanal atresia, on which he has authored several publications as well as a patent design for a Sadek Choanal Atresia Stent for the treatment of the condition (patent number US6606995).

Traumatic loss of sense of smell and taste
Deafness, tinnitus and vertigo as a result of road traffic accidents
Mr Sadek started his medicolegal practice in 2000 when he was appointed ENT consultant on 1st July 2000.
The volume of instructions is about 165 per year. Mr Sadek has attended several training medicolegal courses over the years to keep up to date, including: Civil procedure rules part 35, Courtroom skills, clinical negligence, whiplash and NIHL conference. He has attended Court only once. He is ICO registered: number ZA052886, his Claimant/Defendant ratio is 99/1.
