Mr Daniel Dunn is an independent prosthetic clinician in the private sector. He is founder of the Prosthetic Home Service, a unique nationwide clinical prosthetic service offering domiciliary visits. Also founded of Exo Prosthetics Ltd in 2021, who design and manufacture a range of 3D printed prosthetic devices.
The Prosthetic Home Service provides everything you would expect from a prosthetic appointment at a clinic location, but in the comfort of your own home.
Daniel offers home based assessment and treatment for patients with all levels of acquired amputation or congenital limb absence. He has experience working with all levels of amputation, both acquired and congenital. The design and development of prosthetics, with projects focusing on both lower and upper limb prosthetic solutions. He has complete autonomy when prescribing prostheses, enabling him to prescribe the optimal prosthesis for the client.
He is up to date with new technologies, more specifically how additive manufacturing can be implemented to improve client participation and acceptance of their prosthesis, and the benefits that this can have for the individual.
He is an accredited expert witness and undertakes medico-legal work, providing both expert witness and immediate needs assessment reports. He can also provide reports not intended for the court, such as immediate needs assessments for case managers.
Daniel has undertaken specific expert witness training and is experienced in report writing. All reports intended for the courts comply with Civil Procedure Rule, Part 35.
