Mr. Nitish Narvekar

I am a Consultant Specialist in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Reproductive Medicine, and Minimal Access Surgery including Endometriosis and Fibroid Surgery based in London.

I have over 30 years’ clinical experience working in various hospitals, clinics, and healthcare settings. I am an expert in advanced gynaecological surgery having performed more than 1000 complex operations and specialises in the management of various gynaecological conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, infertility, uterine anomalies/septum, miscarriage, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and surgical issues in Maternity such as abdominal cerclage, Abnormal Invasive Placenta “AIP” and uterine trauma. I am the Clinical Lead for Endometriosis/EndoCentre, Reproductive Surgery, and Robotic and Complex Gynaecology. I have a wide range of research interests which has led to several publications and presentations. I am actively involved in the training, examination, supervision and mentoring of students, specialists, and fellow Consultants.

I qualified in 1990 and trained in various hospitals and clinics in the UK and abroad. I completed a research degree MD “Doctor of Medicine” in Reproductive Medicine at University of Edinburgh, followed by advanced training in Reproductive Medicine, and Minimal Access Surgery at University College Hospital London. I was appointed as NHS Consultant in 2008 and admitted as Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists ‘FRCOG’ in 2013.

I have been providing medicolegal reports to the Court since 2018 (Claimant 20% Defendant 80%) and prepare ~150 reports per annum centred on my areas of medicolegal expertise which include infertility and fertility treatments, surrogacy, general gynaecology and gynaecological surgery, surgical complications and injuries, miscarriage and ectopic pregnancies, and caesarean section deliveries and complications.
