Ian Fyall is a self-employed Scaffold Consultant sole trader delivering audits, scaffold inspections and consultancy on scaffolding and work at height. He is also an auditor for the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation.
With 38 years’ experience in the scaffolding industry and an experienced health and safety advisor in the construction, nuclear and oil and gas industry. With 22 years experience as a Health and Safety professional specialising in Work at Height particularly scaffolding, access equipment and fall protection and prevention systems. Ian is the Author of the NASC Safety Guide SG28:06 Scaffolding for Timber Frame Construction and NASC Contract Guide CG6:09 plus CG18:21.
Ian has delivered Papers at seminars and conferences for up to 500 delegates, he has also lectured at many conventions overseas ranging from China to Africa.
Ian has led numerous fatal and major injury investigations, Assisted clients through Police and HSE Investigations, and Criminal Proceedings, Civil claims investigator for Solicitors and Loss Adjusters, Expert witness reporting for scaffolding and work at height related cases and Insurance investigations and risk management surveys. Ian has appeared as an expert witness in court and prepared documents for court in civil and criminal cases.
