Ms Rina Bhatt is a British-trained fully accredited Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic surgeon at the Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust. A position she has held since 2012 to this date. She is also Regional Education Advisor (West Midlands) from January 2020 to present, Training Programme Director (Educaion; West Midlands Deanery) from January 2024 to present and Postgraduate Examiner for Royal College of Ophthalmologists from 2015 to this date.
Ms Bhatt has vast experience (over 30 years in the UK) in Ophthalmology. Her specialty interest is in Oculoplastics and Lacrimal Surgery and Emergency Ophthalmology and has trained trainees at senior level who want to pursue their career in this area of specialty. Ms Bhatt has managed a variety of conditions presenting to the Urgent Eye care or Eye Casualties as have been providing clinical service in this area throughout her career.
